    Climate negotiators meeting this week in Germany are scrambling to work out details ahead of a major summit later this year in Paris. The goal is to commit more than 190 countries to curb greenhouse gases and finance other measures to address global warming.

    Bob Orr (96-97), a longtime U.N. climate adviser and dean of the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy, takes us inside the negotiations and explains why the talks in Bonn are so important.
