The Enterprise Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ANA provides visionary, strategic leadership in partnership with the Boards of Directors and has operational responsibility for management of staff and implementation of essential association programs for ANA, ANCC and the Foundation. ANA is also the parent organization of three other wholly owned subsidiaries where the CEO has a limited role in oversight and participation in governance of these entities: American Academy of Nursing; Institute for Nursing Research and Education; and American Nurses Service Corporation.
