  • Elizabeth Dial Pinkerton Appointed New Director of PCWHF

    The President has appointed Ms. Elizabeth Dial Pinkerton to be the Director of The President’s Commission on White House Fellowships. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Pinkerton was Deputy Director of Transition Personnel, for the 2016-17 Presidential Transition. In prior years, she had been a Principal at Rosslyn Partners; she was also the Vice President of the South Carolina Business Council. In 2012, she worked on the Romney Readiness Project, planning for a possible presidential transition. From 2007 to 2009, she served as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush; in that post, she served as the White House’s principal liaison for statewide elected officials. From 2001 to 2007, she held intergovernmental-relations positions at the U.S. Department of Commerce. In her home state of South Carolina, she served in the gubernatorial administrations of David Beasley and Carroll A. Campbell, Jr., and also for the State House Speaker David H. Wilkins. Ms. Pinkerton received a B.A. in Public Affairs from Columbia College in Columbia, S.C.
