White House Fellows Founders Month
Oct 3, 2010 - Oct 3, 2010
We are celebrating our 45th anniversary. Come and find out how you can apply for the White House Fellows Program
The White House Fellows Foundation and Association are pleased to invite you to attend a special recruitment session on the White House Fellows Program. Founded in 1964, the White House Fellows Program is America's most prestigious program for leadership and public service, offering exceptional men and women first-hand experience working at the highest levels of the federal government. White House Fellows typically spend a year working as full-time, paid special assistants to senior White House Staff, the Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries and other top-ranking government officials. Fellows also participate in a once-in-a-lifetime education program consisting of off-the-record, roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from the private and public sectors, and take trips to study leaders and policy in action both domestically and internationally. Fellowships are awarded on a strictly non-partisan basis. The program has fostered a legacy of leadership, with 650 alumni who are respected leaders in a variety of fields and professions.
Alumni include former Secretary of State ColinPowell, Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao, General Wesley Clark, Senator Sam Brownback, former CNN President Tom Johnson, Levi Strauss & Co CEO Robert Haas, former NBC Chair Jane Pfeiffer, and WSJ Editorial Page Editor Paul Gigot, and CNN Chief Medical Correspondent, Sanjay Gupta.
